Córdova to join space anniversary celebration

Purdue University President France Córdova will be one of the speakers at a celebration of the United States' 50th anniversary of being in lay this week.
Córdova who was once chief scientist at NASA will communicate Thursday at the California initiate of Technology for the event. "50 Years in lay: Aerospace Conference Celebrating 50 Years of lay Technology."
Her talk will focus on the next 50 years in space and the need to alter a new generation to "reach for the stars."
"I feel privileged to communicate at this event that celebrates our accomplishments in lay and looks ahead to the future," Córdova said. "We have go a desire way over the last 50 years and the future is rich with new opportunities."
